SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support, Engineering, Financial Management, Configuration Management (CM) Support and Program Management. This vehicle is used to meet the requirements of the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research and the United States Marine Corps. Under SeaPort-e contractors provide services that span the spectrum of mission areas supported by the activities and technical capabilities that comprise the various ordering activities, as well as provide professional support services to the overall Navy and Marine Corps organizations. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform.
